'How pumped up you are!': Arnold Schwarzenegger shows off Chris Hemsworth's muscles
The 39-year-old Thor beefcake modeled a white tank top that allowed him to show off his musclebound arms to full advantage.
'Ya never know who you’ll bump into at the gym!' joked Chris as he posted the photo to Twitter.
'What a dream to train with the one and only @Schwarzenegger.'
Arnie, 75, who rose to fame as a bodybuilder long before his movie stardom, quoted the tweet and wrote to Chris: 'Look how pumped up you are!'
Their picture comes two weeks after the two action hunks co-starred in a new ad for Netflix, where they both have buzzy new projects out.
Arnold stars on the streaming service's action comedy series FUBAR, which dropped its first season less than a month ago.
FUBAR features Arnie and Monica Barbaro as a father-daughter duo who are each shocked to learn that the other is in the CIA.
Along with FUBAR, Arnie is also the subject of a new Netflix docuseries, consisting of three episodes detailing his extraordinary life and multiple careers.
Meanwhile Chris is the dashing leading man of Netflix' movie series Extraction, whose second instalment was released this Friday.
In their new Netflix ad, Chris stumbles upon Arnie in an elevator and tries to chat with his idol - only to be somewhat deflated when the older action star starts giving him hopelessly corny catchphrases for the next Extraction movie.
While Chris got 'pumped up' the natural way at their latest training session, Arnie has been candid about the fact his own methods were not always as orthodox.
Arnie legally took steroids as a young bodybuilder and dished about the experience decades later while he was Governor Of California.
He did not endorse steroids for contemporary use, but told ABC News: 'I have no regrets about it because at that time, it was something new that came on the market, and we went to the doctor and did it under doctors' supervision.
